VCRC has made two very significant decisions in the last couple of months:
On December 4, 2023 over 80% of members approved a special resolution to sell the land and building we meet in to Pacific Christian School. The purchase amount was significantly below market value, and included a license agreement which will allow VCRC to continue to minister and worship on this site for at least 25 years (at $1/year). The sale closed January 2, 2024.
On January 11, 2024 the congregational meeting held resulted in a clear decision to continue functioning as Victoria Christian Reformed Church. The special resolution to dissolve VCRC required a 75% approval and received only 34% of the votes cast.
Pray for Council, pray for our church and begin thinking about how you can help. “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25).
